Girvan sufferred a set-back in the push for promotion when they narrowly lost 2-1 to Annbank on Saturday 5th March.
Annbank opened the scoring early in the first half through Crichton but Girvan fought back and found themselves level at the break with a penalty from Darren Mitchell.
Annbank gained the advantage when they scored in controversial circumstances early in the second half. McMillan of Annbank received the ball wide on the right in what appeared to be an offside position, however, the ref waved play on and Crichton was on hand to score his and Annbank's 2nd goal.
Girvan fough hard for an equaliser but some good goalkeeping and luck keep Girvan out.
